David McGibbon
BIOGRAPHY
David McGibbon is a Partner/Principal in the Financial Services Consulting Strategy & Operations practice of EY (Ernst & Young, LLP). David holds B.S. and B.A. degrees with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds a Certificate of Business Excellence from the Global Banking Program with Columbia University Business School and Executive Leadership Program from Harvard University.
He has professional experience in the Banking and Capital Markets industry supporting clients across the Consumer / Retail, Business Banking, Credit Unions, Commercial / Wholesale, Asset & Wealth Management, and Capital Markets industries, with a focus in serving business, technology, and digital transformation, regulatory response and risk management, program and organizational change management, complex consumer / retail and business banking channels processes, target operating model development, strategic assessments, and post-merger integration.
David is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) with expertise in Six Sigma/Lean, Agile, and program management methodologies. In addition to responsibilities in the US, he previously served as a Consulting leader across the region of Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and Turks & Caicos. Prior to joining EY, David specialized in management consulting and systems integration with Accenture for leading financial services retail and investment bank clients.
At EY, he is an Executive Leader of the Unity LGBTQ+ employee network, member of multiple Charlotte LGBTQ+ community organizations and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Western Carolinas / Charlotte chapter.
