JaQuan Bowser

BIOGRAPHY

JaQuan, born and raised in Durham, NC, made his move to Charlotte once he decided to go to Johnson & Wales to pursue an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry and Bachelors in Food Service Management with a concentration in Meeting & Event Management. Currently he works for Republic National Distributing Company, a liquor distribution organization. Previously he has held positions in luxury and boutique hotels as well as country clubs working in management, pastry, and events.

JaQuan has worked in liquor sales in North Carolina for over 5 years. He currently serves as the President of the U.S Bartenders Guild Charlotte Chapter where he and his Board work with local bars, restaurants, liquor, beer, and wine to bring education and awareness to brands and places to go to in the city with the local membership. Most recently the Charlotte Chapter won an award based on the Education Week.

Outside of work and his non-profit activities, JaQuan enjoys working out, exploring new bars and restaurants, and scootering around town.
