Scott Mealus
BIOGRAPHY
Scott, born and raised in Upstate New York, moved around the country due to his dad working in the candy industry. He followed his parents to Charlotte in 1999, and now considers himself a native as it is the longest place that he has lived. He pursued a double major in Psychology and Business Management at University of North Carolina Charlotte, and graduated in 2004.
Scott then held jobs in several restaurants in Charlotte before taking a role at a local bank in 2015. He has held several positions in his tenure and is most proud of his work as the Global Transgender and Gender Diversity lead. This role allowed him to advocate for teammates around the globe, while enhancing the benefits and services offered. He currently has a role in internal mobility in which he helps teammates navigate their careers in the company.
Scott has been with his current partner, John, for 9 years, and they share a beautiful 6 year old boxer named Chloe. Outside of work and home life, he enjoys playing volleyball and pickleball as well as running and working out.
