BIOGRAPHY

Shelly Schoenfeld is a Credit Review Executive at Bank of America, where she is responsible for coverage, including examinations, ongoing monitoring and risk identification, of the domestic and international Global Corporate & Investment Banking portfolios, as well as the global Leveraged Finance and Leasing portfolios. She has more than two decades of financial services industry experience, including roles in credit products underwriting and risk management.

Shelly is a graduate of Miami University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance. She has been actively involved in Charlotte’s LGBTQ+ community for over 20 years. In addition to her current role as Chair of the Board of Directors, Shelly has previously had local leadership roles with OutCharlotte and the Human Rights Campaign, including serving as a gala co-chair and on the Board of Governors. She also served on the national Board of Directors for the Human Rights Campaign from 2017-2019. At Bank of America, Shelly is an Executive Sponsor of the Carolinas chapter of the LGBTQ+ Pride Employee Network and a member of the company’s LGBTQ+ Executive Leadership Council. Shelly resides in Charlotte with her wife Michelle.
